The lunch was also delicious!

First we started off by being picked up by Juan and our driver who was also extremely friendly. They spoke good enough English to converse throughout the 3 days but we got sure learned a lot of Spanish along the way. They took us to the jungle on a canoe where we saw 2 meter fish, monkeys, birds and insects. After that there was a cultural dance with lots of animals to hold like snakes and alligators. We were taken to a fabulous lunch and then a very local Ecuadorian river with an area of sand to lay out.

    We arrived to the cabana which was nothing special but we had a great family to stay with. Rosalina was very kind and did not speak any English. Her food was plentiful though. There was no WiFi and not hot water but the beds were comfy. Just a warning the accommodations are a little rough and far from a luxury vacation but it feels like being deep in the jungle which is an experience in itself. We even got to go night fishing in the river nearby! They provide all food and water here.

    The next 2 days were packed with climbing waterfalls in the cascades, visiting a lagoon, and a 27 kilometer white water rafting experience with amazing photos taken of us. Overall, Raft Amazonia provided us a great experience and I would recommend it for anyone who enjoys adventurous activities. The best part about it was how action packed it was and all the people who were there to help us in the 3 days.

  • star rating  We finished our 3 day Amazon lodge stay on a high with a full day’s exhilarating whitewater rafting on the Rio Jatunyacu with our two excellent, calm and funny rafting... read more guides Leandro and Rony.

    Both guides were super patient and spent time at the start to explain the safety rules in detail and reassure us two inexperienced rafters to relax and enjoy the experience.

    Thanks guys for an amazing day. Fully recommend this rafting day to beginner and experienced rafters.
